Norwegian Daily, Dagbladet has launched its iPad edition.

Editor in chief Lars Helle says that Dagbladet Development has worked to adapt to the iPad Dagbladet.no this fall, and developers in connection with this work have come up with solutions for iPad version.

Initially, the newspaper Dagbladet.no will be able to be downloaded to the iPad for free.

-This iPad newspaper is adapted for touch screens, it has developed a unique image feature and can easily come into its own video and film side, "said editor in chief Lars Helle.

In April 2010, The New York Times had announced it would publish daily on the iPad. As of October 2010, The New York Times iPad app is ad-supported and available for free without a paid subscription, but will transition to a subscription-based model in 2011.Major news organizations, such as The Wall Street Journal, BBC, and Reuters have released iPad applications, to varying degrees of success.
