Gassco and Skanledpartnarane have decided to lead the project after they have been clarified what the investment plans Ineos has Rafnes. The new concept is not dependent on a seperasjonsanlegg, and it ensures sufficient capacity for future use of gas in Grenland.

Skanled is a gas pipeline to go from K?rst? to Grenland and to Sweden and Denmark. The line makes it possible to export gas to Sweden and Denmark, and for industrial use of gas in Grenland. Skanled is important for employment and wealth creation in Norway. The government therefore follow the project very closely to ensure implementation.

The plan is to be submitted by the 1st of April.
