Mental Health Help phone has been in operation in Norway since 1992. Through the years there has been a steady increase in the number of incidents and last year 62 000 calls were received. Help line is a day open offer - of all people, regardless of age. The center has permanent staff who serve 24 hours a day - 365 days a year. It's free to call. People may call the line if they are struggling with anxiety, depression, relationship problems or suicidal thoughts.
