Mental Health Help telephone line is a service for people who feel lonely or are in a mental crisis. The service is open to everyone all day, all year, and it's free to call. Mental Health Help phone has been in operation in Norway since 1992. Through the years there has been a steady increase in the number of incidents and last year 62 000 calls were received. Help line is a day open offer - of all people, regardless of age. The center has permanent staff who serve 24 hours a day - 365 days a year. It's free to call. People may call the line if they are struggling with anxiety, depression, relationship problems or suicidal thoughts.
