– Norway condemns the Russia´s decision to recognize the self-proclaimed “people’s republics” in Luhansk and Donetsk as independent states, says Norwegian Foreign Minister Anniken Huitfeldt.
– The decision is another violation of Ukraine’s sovereignty. Norway consistently supports Ukraine’s independence and territorial integrity within internationally recognized borders, says the Minister of Foreign Affairs.
Norway supports an emergency meeting on the situation in the UN Security Council.
