New Election Poll Increases Conservatives’ Hope for Government

A poll conducted by  Avisenes Nyhetsbyrå (ANB) shows that Conservatives (Høyre) falls by 3.3 percentage points in November, yet becomes the largest party of Norway with 31.3 percent support. 

The major government party Labor (Ap) follows Høyre with 27.5 percent, while another government party Socialist Left (SV) keeps on the edge of the threshold with 5 percent support level.

In the poll, the fall of Christian Democrats (KrF) continues. The party drops below the threshold with 3.8 percent support, while the Progress Party (FrP) increases its votes by one percentage point to 18.8.
