The poll conducted by Ipsos MMI during October shows that SV gets 5 percent support.
– This is a great encouragement. It’s been a while since we’ve had such a positive measurement. Yet, I am always careful not to put so much emphasis on a single measurement, be it positive or negative, SV leader Audun Lysbakken says to Dagbladet.
According to the results of the poll Labour Party (Ap) gets 28.8 % support while Center Party (Sp) gets 4.3 % both decreasing since the last poll.
The Conservatives keep climbing and gets 33 percent support 1.4 more than the last poll. Frp gets 17.5 percent which shows a minor decrease. Christian Democrats (KrF) gets 5.3 percent and Center Party (Sp) gets 4.3 percent while Left (Venstre) ends up below the threshold with 3.8 percent.
If this was the result of the parliament elections the current red-green government (Ap, SV and Sp) would have lost the majority in the parliament ending up with 69 seats, 17 seat less than they have today. The bourgeois parties (FrP, H, Krf) would end up with 100 representatives, 91 of them from the Conservatives (Høyre) and the Progress Party (FrP).
