KrF Thinks Norway Must Have Christian Values

Christian Democratic Party (KrF) politician Knut Arild
Hareide suggested it is more important than ever to preserve Christian heritage
in Norway. Commenting on Drammen municipality's decision to have a
religion-neutral community, Hareida said his party will fight against this
attitude.

– In an increasingly diverse society, one can be tempted to
believe that the most suitable option for Norway is a society characterized by
religious and value neutrality. It is a fallacy, says Knut Arild Hareide.

KrF politican also added saying, "Especially in the
face of new cultures, it is important to know our own history and culture. A
society that has room for religion in public life is a richer society.”
