– I can understand that the Norwegian people are skeptical of the EU cooperation now due to crisis affecting some European countries. Nevertheless, the EU is very important to us, said secretary general of European Movement International Norway (Europabevegelsen), Frode Nergaard Fjeldstad to NRK.
The poll shows that 78.3 percent of respondents said no to Norway to join the EU, while 14.3 percent answered yes. Moreover, 68 percent of traditionally pro-EU voters of Conservative party said no to the EU membership.
