The pro-Israeli newspaper, The San francisco Sentinel- 27 march 2011 harshly criticized Universities of Oslo and Trondheim (NTNU)'s having turned down lawyer Alan Dershowitz 's offer to give lectures on Israel and international law. The newspaper accused Norway of being anti-Semitic.
«People tell Norway has a long tradition of anti-Semitism. They are wrong. It is not history. It is happening here and now.» said Dershowitz to the newspaper.
