Solheim go to Houston on Sunday 15 August. He has scheduled meetings with Norwegian companies operating in the area, and with oil companies on Monday. At the end, he will fly over the accident site and look at the damage along the coast.
After visiting the U.S. , Solheim will head to South America. There, he will visit the Uruguay, Paraguay, Bolivia and Venezuela. The focus of his visits are rainforest and the upcoming climate negotiations in Mexico.
