Store proposed that Norway's involvement in Afghanistan is one of the most important and challenging areas in Norwegian foreign policy. – This visit also makes it possible for me to visit the Norwegian forces and express our support for the work they do here, “said Foreign Minister.- Kabul conference is important because it represents yet another step towards full Afghan ownership and leadership of their own security and development, he said.
The Foreign Minister also pointed out Norway is in Afghanistan with its NATO allies to contribute to stability , security and development at the request of the UN Security Council and Afghan authorities and Norway is one of the largest contributors to civil reconstruction with a contribution of around 750 million a year.
