5 out of 8 Parties in Norway are Led by Women Now

Eriksen takes over KrF from Knut Arild Hareide who is on paternity leave.

With her leadership, Norway breaks a new record. Now 5 of 8 major party leaders in the country are women. 

In addition to the prime minister and leader of Conservatives (Høyre) Erna Solberg, and Progress Party (FrP) leader and finance minister Siv Jensen, Venstre and Sosialistisk Venstreparti have female leaders. 

Also another female politician, Hilde Opoku co-chairs Miljøpartiet de Grønne with Rasmus Hansson.
