KrF politician against abortion for rape victims

Leader of Christian Democratic Party's youth organization in Bergen, Emil André Erstad believes victims of rape and incest should not be allowed to decide whether to have an abortion.

During a debate on Twitter with the Liberal Sveinung Rotevatn and the newspaper-columnist Marie Simonsen, Erstad said he is against abortion even in incest and rape and added that it is more extreme to be for abortion than against. “Today, many are pressured to have an abortion, I know of cases where doctors have described abortion as the only option, however I believe society should facilitate that abortion is not an option,” said he to Dagsavisen.
