Erna Solberg Re-Elected as Norway Conservative Leader

She has been Conservative leader for ten years. Only two other right-wing leaders led the party longer than Solberg. The party’s first leader, Emil Stang, was the leader in a total of 13 years, Carl Joachim Hambro led the party for two terms from 1928 to 1934 and from 1945 to 1954.

– I do not really have any ambition to pass Hambro. It is important to have continuity, but it is also important to know when to give up, Solberg said to TV2.
