Rain Replaces Snow in Oslo, Fire Alarm Continues in North Norway

Meteorologists say that lack of snow and rain fall will continue in Trøndelag. It is so dry in the more northern part of Norway that it can be compared to the dryness on Grand Canaria.

– Some rain can come, but not enough to affect the fire hazard, says Metrological Institute.

The whole of Norway is characterized by mild weather and warm temperatures above zero. The unusual winter weather will probably continue throughout February. On the west cost the winds will blow up over the weekend. Also the north of Norway will have a lot of wind.

In Oslo the temperature will rise over the weekend. Because of heavy snowfall this week, it is important to look out for melting snow and ice that can fall down from the roofs.

A lot of of rain fall is predicted  in the capital in the following days.
