Football Festival at Ullevål: Vålerenga Meets FC Barcelona

FC Barcelona and Norwegian Footbal Team, Vålerenga play a friendly match at Ullevaal Stadium in Oslo. The match will be the only preparation match played in Europe before next season for Barcelona.

Last season Barcelona were the first team in history to win six possible titles in a row , including the Champions League in Rome. On the other hand, Vålerenga won five Norwegian championship and four cup and is famous for its spectecular fans.

Vålerenga's coach,Martin Andresen said that Vålerenga have a fantastic opportunity to play a friendly match against the team that is considered the best in the world.

- This is a fantastic opportunity for our players to meet some of the world's best players. There will be an educational game for our players , "said Andresen to VIF TV.

- To meet this type of players, they provide good reference point. To be able to match against a good opponent is very good for Vålerenga as a club , and this is a game we really look forward to play, added he.

Guardiola is looking forward

FC Barcelona's manager Pep Guardiola expressed his gratitiude to be in Norway .

- This is a great opportunity for us to see our supporters in Norway . We hope we have a great time in Oslo and hopefully everyone who comes to watch the game enjoy a memorable match, "said Guardiola in the press conference.

The Stadium will be Full

The open ticket sales began with great interest of the footbal fans. 3000 tickets were sold in the first 25 minutes eventhough the price of the tickets were criticized to be higher than other matches.
