Traffic Jam Warning during Norway Cup
Police authorities warned against traffic congestion in Oslo during the Norway Cup starting in 1 August. The organization attracts football fans from all over the country to Oslo for one week.

Cup is one of the world's largest football tournaments for children and young people with over 25,000 players spread over approximately 1400 teams. The event generates experience heavy traffic throughout the road network in Oslo.
In the message on Police website, drivers were warned against additional challenges in the Ryen crossing in Oslo. It was stated that this year will be extra challenges in connection with the termination of the amount of traffic in and by Ryen crossing for those coming to the event by car.

Exit road from Moss Bjørvika tunnel is not open yet, and a lot of traffic that would run in south are channeled through the tunnel and Svartdal Ryen crossing . Also underway upgrading on the subway will create extra traffic in the Ryen crossing .

The police will monitor traffic at the site and guide / regulate the time, it is assumed that the need is greatest so that the traffic slides best.
