Best July since the Oslo Airport Opened

More than 1.8 million passengers travelled through Oslo Airport Gardermoen in July. This is a record for the month since the opening in 1998.

With 1,824,082 passengers, July 2010 is the best July since the airport opened in October 1998. This is 8.5% more than in July 2009.

International traffic was 1,134,049 passengers (+8.8%). This is the highest number of international passengers in one month since the airport opened. The number of aircraft movements only rose by 5% in July; from an environmental point of view this is a positive development, says Director of Information Jo Kobro.
