Centre Party will Change Tax Regulation in Norway

While SV leader Audun Lysbakken advocates to increase the overall tax level, the program of the current coalition member, Centre party promises fixed tax level. The party also will eliminate inheritance tax

– We believe that the time has come to phase out the inheritance tax, as it turned out to be a disadvantage for especially the companies, said Trygve Magnus Slagsvold to TV2.

Leader of the Centre Party’s program committee, Slagsvold also said that they will not increase the overall tax level in Norway.

Conservative Party and the Progress Party asked earlier in January about a clarification from Prime Minister Jens Stoltenberg (Labour), after the other coalition member SV’s leader Audun Lysbakken in an interview with TV 2 signaled to break the promise of keeping tax level fixed.
