Norway's Neighbors Mark the 22 July

The first anniversary of the terrorist attacks against the government building and Utøya youth camp is marked with several ceremonies in Sweden, Denmark and Finland.

Both in Stockholm and Gothenburg, memorial services are held. Additionally, at Sergels square in Stockholm there is going to be three minutes silence at 15.25, the minute when the bomb exploded in the government building.

Swedish Prime Minister Fredrik Reinfeldt writes in a letter to Prime Minister Jens Stoltenberg said that Norway's way to cope with the disaster has strengthened the belief in democratic society's values.

In Copenhagen, Denmark and Helsinki, Finland, ceremonies are held in front of the Norwegian embassies.
