The figures from the Universities and Colleges Admission Service (Samordna opptak) show that out of a total of approximately 115 000 applicants, 93  500 were qualified for admission to at least one study, representing an increase of 6.5 percent.

Particularly it is pleasing that teacher education programs and health and social sciences are increasingly popular. In addition, we received a large and long-awaited increase for science and technology, says Minister Kristin Halvorsen.
