Two Norwegians are taken to hospital after an explosion at a hotel in the Thai city of Phuket, confirms the Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MFA). – They are in the hospital for observation and should not be seriously injured, said Foreign Ministry's press representative Kjetil Elsebutangen to Dagbladet.
According to the local newspaper Phuket Gazette , a total of 36 people, both tourists and hotel workers, injured after the explosion due to an an unknown mixture of substances used for cleaning the basin.
