Snow Chaos in August
Snow Level Reached to 50 centimeters in the Norwegian mountains. 15 cars were stuck in Jotunheimen after the heavy snow fall with storm.
The Norwegian daily VG wrote that the sudden snow storm surprised the drivers in the region and many cars stalled on the snow.

- The atmosphere was chaotic and frightening on the mountain, "said Nils Södal, communication manager at NAF salvage company.

15 of the cars could not be pulled out of the snow and passengers were transported from the mountain. The saved passengers had to stay in the village of Lom at night.

Frode Korneliussen, meteorologist at Storm Weather Center in Norway, said it is not unusual to have snow in August in the Norwegian mountains.

- This snowfall was at 2000 meters, but it is rare to have so large amounts of snow here, 40-50 centimeters, in August, " told he.
