Iranian Student is Expelled from Norway

A 36-year-old Iranian student who would study space technology in the north peak of Norway, Narvik, was deported from Norway, because Police Security Service(PST) feared that he may contribute to Iran’s nuclear program in the future, reported NTB.

Iranian student had already completed a one year course in Norwegian language and culture and was ready to commence his studies in Space technology at Narvik University College. Police Security Service (PST) decided to send the student back to Iran as they feared that the student may use his education for nuclear technology. The decision was taken based on the UN resolution that obliges Norway to prevent the Iranians to learn about technology that can be used in nuclear applications.
