Norwegian Minister of Environment and Development, Erik Solheim was presented as one of the environmental heroes in the American news magazine TIMES’ next edition with a focus on the Norway’s environment program.

Solheim is a Norwegian politician for the Socialist Left Party (SV). He holds two posts in the current Norwegian cabinet, and carries the title Minister of the Environment and Minister of Development Cooperation. He was a participant of the Norwegian delegation, that unsuccessfully attempted to resolve the current civil war in Sri Lanka before the outbreak of Eelam War IV/SV-photographer
