No Pigs

Food Safety Authority has adopted the regulations on special protective measures in connection with the classical swine pest disease in some countries after the outbreak of the disease within the EEA countries.

The countries covered by the regulations are Germany, France, Hungary, Slovakia and Bulgaria. It is prohibited to introduce live pigs, pork and meat products of pigs from certain areas in these countries.

Classical swine plague is an acute, contagious mortal illness inflected through pig productions and characterized by high fever and strong pain.
