Beate Becomes Miss Northern Norway
Miss North Norway was elected during Sunday's competition in the Miss Sandnessjøen. The cow named Beata competed with seven finalists for the title in Sandnessjøen.
Beate is owned by a farmer from Bjarne Herigstad Alstahaug. Another of his cows also won the previous Miss title three years ago.

The competition attracted many spectators to the Agricultural Fair in Horve. The interest motivates the organizers to turn the event into a national competition next year. The number of people visited the fair reached to 10,405.

Another attraction in the fair was the this competition. Competitors showed their skills in furniture production with speedcut with a chainsaw.
