World performing Arts Festival, Mela Starts

Mela Festival 2010 takes place between 6 to 8 August, 2010. The Festival transforms City Hall Square in Oslo with blending of sound, smell, taste and visual impression, in a unique way for three days. It is an international celebration of cultures, a festival for the whole family, and a free party where everyone is invited.

Youssou N'Dour and Hugh Masekela are some of the prominent figures of this year's Mela, which can be seen from Friday 6, to Sunday 8 August this year. During the three-day-festival, more than 300 artists from all continents will take stage.
