After the base settlement was decided in the compulsory arbitration on Monday night, the ongoing strike has ended on Tuesday morning. But the conflict does not end.

- Oil settlement is going to be a tough fight. We hope to make it with the State Mediator, but we have so steep fronts that it can be difficult to avoid a new strike, says Leif Sande from labor union Industry Energy (IE) to E24.

Sande says that the fight is going to contiune until the pay settlement for oil workers accepted.

On the other hand, the opposition parties, Høyre (Conservatives) and FrP (Progress Party) approved the decision of compulsory arbitration.
