With a new regulation, commuters from an EEA country to Norway will be able to be registered.

- It is important that the change for foreign workers does not affect the Norwegian labor market negatively. We aimed to meet the needs of many of those who commute to Norway today, says Finance Minister Sigbjørn Johnsen.

According to the regulation, foreign nationals who stay in Norway for at least six months will get resident registration. In many cases, they do not know have to be a registered in Norway.
