Extended Quota Agianst Discrimination in Labor Market

Audun Lysbakken said that it is now necessary to increase the requirements for figting discrimination against the non-western immigrants in Norway. The need for new measures to integrate immigrants in the labor market was underscored by a recent study Lysbakken showed. It shows that immigrants are 25% more likely to be discriminated against compared to ethnic Norwegians. The study also showed that it is significantly better in the public sector than in the private sector. Lysbakken emphasized that the state has long been working hard to reduce discrimination and enhance diversity.
